Raquel was a Claymore of unknown rank from Clare's generation. She was asigned to the Mount Zakol Hunt, along with Jean, Katea and another Claymore.

Etymology

"Raquel" is a transliteration of the Japanese "Rakeru" (ラケル, pronounced "rah-keh-ruu"). "Raquel" is the Spanish and Portuguese forms of "Rachel."

Appearance

Raquel had short blonde hair. She wore the normal Claymore uniform. In her first appearance, she was seen with Jean and her party heading towards Mount Zakol. She later appears as a corpse on the floor in The Witch's Maw (Part 1) when Katea and Jean are being tortured to Awakening by Dauf and Riful.

Raquel was part of Jean's ill-fated team captured by Riful and Dauf. Severely wounded by Dauf, she was the first to die of the Jean's team . She is seen as a corpse on the floor when Jean and Katea are being tortured by Riful and Dauf.
