Teresa and Clare (テレサとクレア, Teresa to Kurea) is the 6th episode of the Claymore anime series. It first aired on May 8, 2007.

The sixth anime episode of Claymore, adapted from the manga by Norihiro Yagi. The episode was first broadcast on May 8, 2007 and was directed by Hiroyuki Tanaka and produced by Madhouse Studios. It was dubbed by Funimation and released on DVD Volume 2 in 16 December 2008.
Overview[]
Teresa informs Clare that she will be leaving her at the next village and Clare begins to cry, but Teresa sticks to her decision. Teresa goes for a walk when Clare falls asleep that night, but she runs into the bandit whose hand she chopped off previously. He again tries to rape her but finds himself interrupted when Clare hits him over the head with a branch. He throws Clare to the ground and starts beating her, but Teresa uses his own short sword to warn him to back off. He reminds her that she is forbidden by The Organization to kill humans, but she tells him it is up to her if she wants to follow the rules and the bandit flees in fear. Afterwards, Clare hugs Teresa and asks if she is alright, expressing strong empathy to the Claymore's inward loneliness, and this causes Teresa to cry and hug her back.
At the next town, Teresa buys Clare a new outfit and then slays the Yoma that was living there. She asks someone to look after Clare and, despite Clare's protests, a kind woman volunteers to look after her. Teresa leaves the village but notices bandits heading towards the town. Realizing that the Yoma was keeping the bandits away from the town, she heads back to find Clare. Teresa reaches the town only to find it in ruins and the one-armed bandit holding Clare. He taunts Teresa, saying he'll take good care of Clare before knocking the girl unconscious. Teresa flies into a rage and kills all the bandits single-handedly.
Teresa is later surrounded by five Claymores and Orsay takes Clare. The Claymores attampt to execute Teresa, but she easily defeats the five of them, though leaves them alive. Clare runs to her and Orsay asks what’s going on. Teresa declares that she’s found a meaning for her existence; she will live on for Clare’s sake. Orsay warns her she'll regret it, but she leaves anyway. Orsay orders Claymores #2-5 be dispatched to execute Teresa.
