Emelia is Claymore No. 27 of Clare's generation.

EtymologyEdit

"Emelia" is a transliteration of the Japanese "Emeria" (エメリア, pronounced "e-me-ri-a," similar to "Miria"). "Emelia" is a Latinized form of the Germanic "Amala," derived from the element "amal" meaning "work."

AppearanceEdit

Waist-length hair worn loose and swept back. Often confused with Uma, who wears ponytail at Pieta.

BiographyEdit

Emelia, like the rest of Jean's team, was defeated by the flying Awakened Being during the first battle. The Awakened Being blames Jean for this, saying that her leadership skills weren't good enough. Emelia and the others were saved by the arrival of Veronica's team. A combination of Jean, Helen, Veronica and Cynthia were able to kill the Awakened Being.

Emelia is seen at the start of the second battle preparing for battle. At a later point in the battle she is killed by another Awakened Being from Isley's army. None of Jean's team managed to survive the battle.

RelationshipsEdit

She was part of Jean's party in the Northern Campaign along with Eliza (#17), Natalie (#37) and Diana (#44).
