OverviewEdit

Raki, who remains determined to protect Clare, persuades Isley toteach him swordsmanship; meanwhile, Priscilla continues to express a seemingly innocent and peaceful liking for Raki. While with the two, Raki learns more about Claymores and discovers the warriors' presence in Pieta.

In town, Deneve confronts her captain, Undine, about her reckless approach to combat after the latter leaves their team in a fit of anger. The two eventually reconcile by revealing their motivations for becoming Claymores. Meanwhile, Flora, Clare's captain, distrusts Clare because of her borrowed arm and challenges her, wondering how her Windcutter would match up against the Quicksword. However, however before the two can fight, Jean interferes. This causes Flora to claim that she is going to advise Miria their removal them from the mission. Clare reveals that Irene lent her the arm after Clare had lost her right arm in battle. She also reveals that she's after the Awakened Priscilla, and these revelations gain Flora's support and trust. Meanwhile Undine returns to her team and addresses them rather kindly, puzzling the other Claymores for not being brash as usual. In the distance, Isley meets his lieutenant, Rigardo at a nearby lake and orders him to bring along the full manpower of his Awakened followers to annihilate Pieta.
